Internship Opportunities

Slamdance is a year-round organization that operates out of Hollywood, CA. It is one of the top film festivals in America. The office is located at 5634 Melrose Ave between Larchmont and Gower, across the street from Paramount studios. All positions are unpaid, but have the potential for growth.

The following internships are a great way to begin or continue a career in the film industry, and gain insight into the workings of the festival circuit. College students, graduates and anyone interested in the film industry are welcomed. Please fill out an application, and send it into the office with a detailed resume and letters of recommendation (not required). All positions require private transportation.

Openings

Interns and volunteers needed for all departments of the Slamdance Film Festival.

Interns are expected to be goal oriented, self-starters who take direction well. Duties and responsibilities are wide-reaching and will include interaction and liaison with filmmakers, press and industry; administrative jobs; research and development; fulfillment, and physical production.

Interns should have strong writing skills; good communication skills, love movies and enjoy a team atmosphere. School credit and festival perks are available. To schedule an interview, please send a cover letter and resume to jstoddard@slamdance.com
